After graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in economics, Lucia embarked on a successful career in project management. She honed her skills at industry titans like Nike and Gemor Fashion before relocating to the United States.

In 2009, Lucia joined Top Builders, bringing not just her expertise but a problem-solving prowess honed by experience. Her keen eye for detail ensures every design element sings in harmony.

Lucia believes a home should be an extension of its inhabitant. This philosophy drives her creations, known for their modern yet livable aesthetic. As the design maestro at Top Builders, she leads a team who share her design zeal, organizational finesse, and unwavering dedication to exceeding client expectations.

ANDY LUKOSIK

PRINCIPAL + PROJECT MANAGER

Andy Lukosik descends from a line of builders, carrying on a family legacy that stretches back three generations. Even in his teenage years, he was by his father and uncles’ sides, gaining hands-on experience in all facets of residential and commercial remodeling. This included creating project drawings, managing schedules, and contributing to daily construction tasks.

After graduating from a specialized building and engineering high school, Andy continued his education at the Technical University of Building Engineering in Košice, Slovakia. He then embarked on a journey to America, where his skills landed him a coveted position at Summer Consultants, a renowned engineering firm in the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC industry. There, he contributed to prestigious projects like the Pentagon, Andrews Air Force Base, and various government buildings in the Washington D.C. metro area.

In August 2002, Andy founded Top Builders LLC, upholding his family’s longstanding tradition in the construction industry. Serving clients in Northern Virginia and now on Florida’s Suncoast, Andy’s well-rounded experience sets him apart. His firsthand knowledge of construction challenges, combined with his understanding of current building codes, allows him to handle everyday hurdles, structural issues, and trade-related complications with ease.

Andy’s extensive knowledge and experience permeate every aspect of Top Builders. He personally oversees all construction phases, from initial measurements and consultations to design and execution. Meticulous attention to detail and fostering strong client relationships are hallmarks of his approach.

What to Expect / Our Remodel Process:

After your initial consultation with our consultant at Cherrydale Kitchen & Bath by Top Builders LLC, here are the steps you will follow during the remodel process:

Initial consultation: whether virtual or at the client’s house, our consultants will take measurements of the space, discuss details, provide an estimated budget, and address any questions you may have.
Proposal and Floor Plan: Our consultant will prepare a detailed proposal and floor plan for your remodel. You will be asked to visit our showroom to establish an initial layout for budgeting purposes.
Proposal Presentation: Once the proposal is completed, your consultant will present it to you for review, offering almost realistic 3D renderings.
Scheduling: If you decide to proceed with the proposal, please inform your consultant and we will schedule your project and provide a projected start date, while finalizing your design, fixtures, and finishes selection. Note that the final coordination of your start date will be managed by our owner and project managers, Andy Lukosik.
Design Process: You will meet with our designer to finalize the materials selected for your project.
Site Check: If your project requires the relocation of walls or fixtures, a site check will be conducted by our project managers to ensure the scope of work is accurate and to resolve any unknowns as much as possible. This step will be done after the design and materials selection process is completed.
Finalized Budget and Contract: Once the material selections and site check are finalized, your consultant will provide a finalized budget for your review. If everything looks satisfactory, the contract will be signed, and payments will be made as outlined. Note that in some cases, cabinetry may need to be paid for sooner to meet the agreed-upon start date.
