Cherrydale Kitchen and Bath by Top Builders is a design-build firm, which means one team draws the plans, orders the cabinetry and stone, pulls the permit with the City of Venice or Sarasota County, and manages the trades through the final walkthrough. How a Venice project runs, start to finish

Remodeling your home is a significant decision, so we keep every step visible.

Free in-home consultation:
We come to the house, measure the space, listen to how you actually use it, and give you a realistic budget range before anyone talks about design.
Design and selections:
Our AKBD-credentialed designer prepares 3D renderings so you can walk the space before it is built. Selections happen in person at our Nokomis showroom, a ten-minute drive north on the Trail, and you see and touch every door style, slab and fixture before it is ordered.
Permitting and construction:
Venice is the one city in our area where the jurisdiction is not obvious. Inside the city limits, permits go through the City of Venice building department; outside them, the same street can fall under Sarasota County — and a Venice mailing address does not settle it either way. We check the parcel before filing, which avoids the rejection and resubmission that catches out-of-area contractors. We hold both the general contractor licence (CGC1541392) and the plumbing licence (CFC1434738), so structural changes, plumbing and electrical are handled in-house.
